Mark T. Barcelon, CPM
Managing Chief Executive Officer

Mark T. Barcelon has over 25 years of experience in the senior living industry. Mark is a certified property manager and as Chief Executive Officer of Barcelon Associates Management Corporation, has set the corporate culture that has led his company to become one of the most experienced senior living management companies. Mark’s expertise is in feasibility studies, marketing plans, retirement living and assisted living planning and overall strategic programming. Mark has worked with individual developers and investors, institutional investors, non-profit corporations, and general and limited partnerships.

Mark is a member of the Association of Housing Management Agents of California and Nevada (past president), American Senior Housing Association, Institution of Real Estate Management and an associate member of the California Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. In addition, he has been a member of the long-term care committee for the Northern California Chapter of the Health Care Financial Management Association.

Sandy Barcelon
Co-Chief Executive Officer

Sandy has over 27 years of property management experience, is familiar with all aspects of property management, and specializes in CalHFA and HUD occupancy requirements. Formerly Vice President of Operations of Barcelon Associates, she handles the corporate financials, is a member of the Executive Committee and participates in special projects for Barcelon Associates.

Mary Sorace
Senior Vice President

Mary is a Senior Vice President with Barcelon, bringing extensive experience to the team. She has more than 30 years experience in Health Care Administration. Mary oversees the Assisted Living and Asset Management divisions. Mary holds Assisted Living Administrator licenses in several states. Mary also oversees new business and personnel within Barcelon. Mary’s expertise in the Senior Care Management industry has brought growth in the consultation business as well as in property management services.

Melody A. Martini
Vice President of Operations

Melody has served in a supervisory capacity for the past 23 years in the fields of educational software, telecommunications, and property management. As Vice President of Operations, she has supervised the corporate administrative, payroll, accounting, and occupancy departments.

Melody is a Certified Occupancy Specialist, holds a professional level designation from the National Assisted Management Association, and is tax credit certified. Melody has also successfully completed the Residential Elderly Administrator Certification Program.

Sandy Sposito
Vice President of Human Resources

Sandy has worked in Human Resources and payroll for over 20 years. As Vice President of Human Resources, she is responsible for planning, directing and implementing the Human Resources functions for our organization.

Barry Cammer
Director of Asset Management

Barry has been with Barcelon Associates for more than 18 years, having responsibility for all Asset Management sites, and supervising site management, occupancy, and maintenance. Barry is also experienced as a Residential Care Administrator.

Barry has served on the board of directors for Affordable Housing Management Association of Northern California, Nevada, and Hawaii (AHMA-NCNH) since 2006; serving as Vice President during 2007, and most recently as President for two terms during 2009 and 2010. His years of experience and expertise provide compliance, stability and professionalism to the sites he oversees.
